Received this novella for free via the author as part of a promotion. I am reading the Whiskey Creek stories out of order, and this one is a nice diversion that could be read rather quickly. It's a familiar trope (mean sister, ex-boyfriend hot mess) full of romantic tension. Works as a nice setup to the series, and now that I am more familiar with the characters and community I will read more.
