Review

I've wanted to read this one for a while. I watched One Day at a Time as a kid and enjoyed the earlier seasons with Julie (I think the show was better with her conflicting with Ann and Barbara). The book, of course, isn't all about work on that show but a harrowing chronicle of drug abuse and other squeamish things. It reads brutally honest, though some people have questioned/denied some of Phillips's accusations against Papa John.As far a celeb memoirs go, it's quite compelling, and I do hope Mack is finally clean for good and able to find work.
