Review

I picked this up with Mackenzie Phillips's book - thought it might be interesting to compare to two. Maureen and Mack seemed to have quite a bit in common - teen stardom, drug issues, and each even worked with a Monkee - but while Maureen's home life wasn't ideal it was nowhere near the nightmare Mack lived.Maureen tells an interesting story, and there are a few blind items to leave you guessing. I did wonder a bit about accuracy. She talks about work on The Brady Brides and mentions the pilot for a series was not picked up. However, I recall watching the show, and Wikipedia lists ten episodes that aired. Maybe she meant the show was eventually cancelled?Anyway, it's a interesting story.
