The Days of Anna Madrigal - Armistead Maupin
Mary Ann in Autumn left me disappointed, and I almost wrote this one off, but since I've read nearly the entire series I couldn't let it go without the last one. I'm glad I hung on - The Days of Anna Madrigal is an improvement and a poignant way to complete the Tales. It moves back and forth from Anna's youth to present-day romps through Burning Man. It's heavier on characters not in the earlier books, but a good story all around.
